A major facet of this campaign is going to be the capture of Lithium sites; each one we get is going to weaken the Dictator (and deny Reddit). While Lubango has solid resources around it (and some REALLY nice Radar coverage) the closest Lithium sites are in double coverage from enemy radar. We cross that border we're getting spotted and raising our threat level.

On the Menongue side, we've got 3 closely packed Lithium sites, all covered by 1 Radar. It's still risky, but we're looking at a much easier EW front, plus a much more forgiving Risk:Reward situation. Additionally the lower population possibly means the area is less "important" and the one airbase in that clump of Lithium could have less "high end" forces stationed there.

Sound reasoning.

I'm guessing it won't be a problem. The native Corp knows they don't have that much money and the don't have much leverage over the situation. So they start us off doing smaller targeted missions, popping boats or covering smaller attacks on the edge of the real powers' waters. This is so they can build momentum and find backers.

We won't be expending much in munitions and gas at all until the end of the campaign. We're going to be doing cheap surgery, not Hoffs massive brawls

Also, I totally won that. I had more than half of my gas tank left. It took skill to outfly the other pilot until he ran out of fuel. I could safely fly back and land the plane. Nobody else did :colbert:
