These androids seem to be pretty close to human, but apparently the closest they're ever going to get to love is combat. That's pretty messed up (and also maybe explains some of the drama on their satellite).

Playing the original Drakengard was an incredible experience and I'm glad I did it, but yeah, it's a terrible game. It's much better to read through the LP and just marvel at the fact that it ever existed, let alone launched a franchise.

Storywise this whole parts feels a lot like the battle against the giant shade at the end of Nier's first act, and from watching the videos it seems like it's more than a little reminiscent of the battle against Four's wyvern-dick suspended castle. It's nice to see those ideas working well together.

That was such a tender strangulation. Classic Drakenier, really. And the androids look pretty odd without their blindfolds. It kinda heightens the feeling that this part is out there a little bit.
