Yeah, I was reading this article getting my pitchforks out because I love to hate on Molyneux for his complete bullshit, but... I dunno, it sounds like he actually loving learned something:

I think one of the biggest mistakes he made with Fable and Godus was he was just the ideas guy, so divorced from the programming that he just promised the world and his poor engineers had to try to make his dreams a reality. The guy getting back into programming is like the best thing that could happen to him, it'll force him to realize what is and isn't feasible before he starts making promises and coming up with lofty ideals.

And he actually doesn't want to talk about his new game yet? Like, holy poo poo, he FINALLY learned!

E: Oh wait though

Yeah that's horseshit Peter. That's horseshit. It was a publicity stunt, you already pulled it, and then you didn't follow through. "oh but we didn't actually profit" oh shut up.

We also got a puppy shortly after getting the cat, and the cat taught him to do cat things like how to sleep on the armrest of the couch.

I think due to recent actions our idiot president has taken with China, the free shipping he used to offer is no longer available on most of them, but it should still be possible to get all of it for about 130ish shipped I believe.
At first the ones available were Sideswipe and Tigertrack, so I grabbed those, then they put out Red Alert, and I like Red Alert, so I got that, and then there was G2 Sideswipe, who is ridiculous and absurd and literally has this face and weapons and SPIKED TIRE SHOULDER PADS from the original G2 comic so I had to get him:

and then there was only one left, an actual KO of no other character, just a red and gold Sideswipe, so I figured why not it was 20 bucks shipped. :v:

On to Blood. A game that's also enraging, but for a different reason! :haw:

the reason is that there's a bug that basically switches the difficulty to max if you load a saved game, regardless of what you started on

The Blood save game bug just inverts your difficulty settings. So if you start on the hardest (Extra Crispy) then load a game, it sets the difficulty to the easiest (Still Kicking) then vice versa. It resets on initial level load I believe. The best thing to do is just play the middle difficulty (Lightly Broiled) then you won't have any issues.

Mak0rz posted:

Well, kinda. What actually changes is just how much damage you receive from enemies. All the other difficulty flags (such as enemy placement) aren't affected by the bug as far as I know. So while I can exploit this to get Still Kicking damage levels, I'll still have to deal with the Extra Crispy problem of levels being completely full of those machinegunning cultists.

Blood is hard on that difficulty though . I'm just going through on Still Kicking and not quicksaving. Working okay so far, but I might have to rethink things when the maps get tougher/longer.

This is the real tragedy here. But don't worry, we'll have the bleeding edge BloodXL reverse engineered source port by 2027 or so!
