I'd say a silent protagonist probably has their merits, but I personally find that the whole thing probably works better if you're controlling a silent party rather than a silent individual.

If you're getting it for the Persona aspect, it's gonna depend on your tolerance for Persona spinoff writing because a lot of the characters got reduced to one-note jokes.

Considering the super tight schedule you would have to follow in a 100% run, I'm wondering if you were just meant to pick one girl and ignore all the rest. And yeah, that's also why the P3 protag has a questionable reputation as an enabler. In order to do most of the girl's S-Links, you have to date them. No way around that if you want 100% S-link completion. Also, bench Junpei.
