I hope the villains succeed in blowing up the planet in episode 12. Episode 13 opens with the credits, then smash cuts to Rei Hiroe's living room. All of the characters get pulled into the real world. The second cour is live action of the animation studio holding cooking contests to appease the characters as they marvel at how much better the food tastes.

I feel like the execution of the premise has been hugely lacking. The plot is delivered by a literal infodump character, the pastiches are not exploring their interesting qualities, and the human characters are terribly boring. The premise and first episode got my attention, but I feel somewhat cheated by the lackluster followup.
