Maybe people are correct in being cautious about a man who said attacks against Bain were "nauseating"

Like in general no one here gives a single solitary gently caress that you didn't vote for Hillary. They care that you went and gave it to Gary loving Johnson, who wants the poor to die in a gutter.

FuriousxGeorge posted:As opposed to the candidate who wants them to go to prison for pot? Or die in drug related gang violence? Or from a bomb from above if they are overseas? It's all a compromise with the candidates we were given. No one put a loving gun to your head and forced you to vote for any of them. Your own lovely priorities took you to Johnson and nothing else.

Kinda, uh, hoping that's being a bit over-dramatic in saying that the social justice issues have been jettisoned because those are...kind of still important. They can coexist with a heightened economic focus. Though yeah, in general, this is a big case of "well let's see what they actually put forth."

JeffersonClay posted:People were certainly concerned with immigration as an economic issue a few pages ago when they argued we should drastically restrict immigration to boost low-skilled wages. Bernie was certainly concerned with the economic consequences of immigration in his campaign. Kamala Harris saying "immigration is good for our economy" makes her more appealing as a presidential candidate, not less. Your hard-on for abusing the poo poo out of migrant laborers never really ceases, does it?
