I didn't like the last episode as it felt poorly paced and rushed. Also this season ended up a little disappointing, probably because I had high expectations for it. I thought the conflict between Benten and the Nidaime to be poorly explained and not given enough backstory. Having Soun as the enemy again seems to be lazy. Also, the leader of the Friday Fellows seemed to disappear in the last episode. If they are fleshed out in the third season, it would be great but it felt like there were potential this season that was squandered.
