so i feel like i am behind the times here because everyone at work is talking about this poo poo and i'm only just learning about it? so people buy a box with kodi loaded on it and then third party add ons kodi used to be xbmc but these add ons allow you to stream almost anything ever? where the gently caress from?

this is illegal right? so this nz company called fibre tv nz sells them for $400 but they appear to have put their face on the UI or something and what they don't offer is nz channels streamed but u can see everything else. it's a legit company coz they have a phone number so i wonder if they skirt the legality by only streaming international poo poo?

but i found out u can buy these little android things for around eighty bucks and my mum got one and i guess in a couple days imma see how it works surely this will get shut down sooner or later? it's the most accessible piracy i've ever seen i tried to ask the sales rep how u can stream netflix for free when u normally pay for it and she just dodged the question and said well the streams are just there and as long as u don't save then u ok basically the law hasn't been written to deal with these things at the moment?

NHL pirate streams come litterrally from nhl.com's CDN cause they're too lazy to enforce stream endpoint counts.
