 OATH COMPLETE!    Worth noting that the base was painted in the previous oath season as part of the Dragon's Don't Share tower set.     The white spots on the wings are polymer varnish that hasn't dried, the white spots on the base are clumsy fingers! Claiming a flying start and double monster may-hem with my pair of dragons because There's more than one!

 OATH COMPLETE    Claiming time to shine on the hoses on the drills and iron ancestor that I painted with a new bottle of the magical Vallejo Metal Color, and the green laser tips done with badger ghost tints. The whole things are still glossy really, because the gloss coat is still tacky 30 hours later due to the weather, but those bits will stay shiny once the matt coat goes on the reds and browns.

OATH COMPLETE  Claiming Feelin' the heat for the guy on the left there, he's armed with a Magma Cannon and I've tried to paint a blue-hot metal colour underneath the cooling vents, on him and two others like him (back row second from left, second row second from right) Also, Army Painter dips take a real loving long time to dry, and has some pooling issues, but saves a lot of painting time over washing and sealing by hand. No bases, because I have a plan to do bases for the entire army at once made out of air drying clay.

 Oath Complete! The vehicles probably need another go with the matt spray, but I'm weekend road tripping to Melbourne for the AFL grand final starting early tomorrow morning, so that'll have to wait for another time               Claiming chop shop for my custom Red Goblin Blaster made from twine, a warbases MDF cart, some shapeways bombs, and a mantic goblin that I also cut one half of the bow from to turn it into the fuse lighter. Also claiming Need 4 Speed with the blaster per this post

I, NTRabbit, oath to paint for the spooky month of Spooktober 4 sections of scattered ruins, 1 statue plinth, 1 area terrain base 3, 2x area terrain base 4, 1 area terrain base 5.2, and 17 area terrain base tree stumps by goon operated (Germ) thread sponsor Worldsmith Industries (28mm) 8 tombstones by Reaper (28mm)   A bunch of premade trees from an unnamed Chinese model train supplier on eBay, and Wee Scapes from my local art store, are going in the tree stump bases, not pictured as they won't really be painted, but I can round them up for a photo if you need it, I won't be getting to that part for at least a week.

I know it's late, but the forums have only just come back up after being down for about 8 hours Oath Complete Claiming show my working     here's the final product      Also claiming recipe for success: Army Painter Red cape VGA Dwarf Skin, with a coat of VMC Transparent Green for the skin Reaper MSP HD Pale Saffron eyes VGC Off White teeth VMC Natural Steel weapon and armour, edge highlighted with Vallejo Liquid Silver P3 Hammerfall Khaki for the hood and tunic VMC Panzer Series Beige Brown for the gloves and dagger hilt All washed in Citadel Nuln Oil Sealed with Devlan Matisse Polymer Matt Varnish The base was carved from standard Milliput Painted in Vallejo Black Surface Primer, with Reaper MSP HD White edge highlights Sealed with Pledge Future Shine for a glassy Obsidian finish Surrounded by a small amount of Vallejo Earth Texture Dark Earth, and Woodland Scenics Light Green Field Grass

OATH COMPLETE Sorry for the shiny, but I'm out of matt varnish and can't afford to get any more right now.  Sturnhammer Battle Tank  Switch the turret to make it a Hata Pattern Sturnhammer Battle Tank  Another turret switch and a bulldozer blade makes it a Brandr Urban Assault Vehicle  And switching out the upper hull makes it a Drakkar APC No challenge or bonuses this month

Oath Complete My 30 Steel Warriors (again, no dullcote because money, no base because doing them bulk once everything is painted), in the form of  4 as Huscarls (squad leaders)  4 as Rekkhyrrs (flamethrower squad)  12 as Brakkarim and Issilgarim (Autocannons for Steel Warriors/Stormrage Veterans, magma cannons and missile launchers for Stormrage Veterans)  10 regular Steel Warriors (Rifles) No time to do all for one right now, but I'll get a photo done for the thread some time this week
