Actually, I thought the same thing, but apparently you do freeze in space. Sort of. I'll just quote this person who told me about how it works. Ranzear posted:Body temperature water in space is below its vapor pressure (hell, it just has to be above -73C), causing it to boil. This vacuum boiling is endothermic, so the vapor carries away heat from the remaining water, causing it to freeze.
