I really loved GotGv2. I liked Drax in the first movie, but I never imagined he'd be one of my favorites in the sequel.

But from the post-credits the minute Ving motherfucking Rhames pops up, I got really excited. And then introduce a team of the original Guardians? gently caress. Yes. That just seems like it could be a way, way better version of The Expendables, except in space.

I saw the movie in theaters, and on my first watch I absolutely loved the movie. But then we got the Blu-Ray, and every time we have people over they want to watch the movie. After seeing it a couple more times, I don't know that this movie has the re-watch value of the original. It's a good movie, regardless, but I feel compelled to want to skip straight to the middle when they go to Ego's planet because the rapid-fire jokes in the first act get old after a couple of viewings.
