Over the past few weeks I've been existing off a steady diet of "mockumentary" style live news programmes. The vast majority of which (if not all) involve hypothetical nuclear war scenarios. I'm curious if anyone has any of these that don't cover nuclear war. Or one's that do that I've missed here. In no particular order here are some of the ones you can find on Youtube. It looks like you have to go to some iffy sources to find it online, but Ghostwatch feels like it fits the bill. It's a Halloween special from BBC in 1992, in which they stage a paranormal investigation into a supposed haunted flat, using at the time very real BBC personalities, and it's played completely straight.

Oh Ghostwatch definitely fits the bill. That's a great one. It certainly used to be up on youtube in good quality. The ones I found there now with a quick search just need to have the playback speed slowed down to be watchable.
