The WW1 stuff makes the Blackadder WW1 series look grim in comparison, obviously things have to be toned down for the kids because that's the way superhero movies work but still disappointing. Also possibly tied into the whole tank promo art gaffe? As far as I'm aware the only tanks in WW1 were tractors with ad hoc armour plating.
