So help me out, pre-ordering the game let's you get into the beta on about the 19th, but it will be open to everyone regardless of whether or not you preordered on the 21st? Why would I preorder? Game looks good though, like I can't loving wait to play with you dudes again

I liked how a single Laffy player can make every AI controlled enemy including the boss completely bug out and fall off timing in a raid too, that was cool.

I mapped jump to a paddle on the Xbox elite controller, which made those jumping puzzles in the raids a cake walk and helps just about everything. I also mapped weapon switch to one, which is rad because you can switch quickly while still aiming and hit faster. Those two seemed the best really. Being able to jump while continuing to look around is just loving amazing.

The weird thing for me is their insistence on the POV. Like, every other pvp game I'm playing on the Xbox has a better POV. I remember how you get used to it fairly readily during D1, but opening up D2 and seeing it again is just so loving weird and seems the dumbest thing ever. The "punching a dude I can't see because he's literally only standing 45 degrees to the left of me" is so stupid. They need to give us a slider on console or at least increase it by 5.

Hot take. Destiny is fun and playing with goons rocks and it's some of the most drunken fun I've had on the Xbox shooting oryx with Sucu and Gogo while battling Rasheed noises and I can't wait to do it all over again. To jump into whatever maw at the beginning of a raid awaits us all. To fill eyes with the starlight glitter of our c-beams. To rejoice in a night well made among friends.

I was having a huge problem with headshots in the PC beta. I use Switch controllers through a program that translates it into an Xbox controller on my PC and the tilt controls just felt like way off. I could not land those shots at all I hope they fix this or I'm canceling my preorder.

The only thing about D2 I don't look forward to is how they've implemented the Gears of War style reload mechanic for all the weapons. It just seems hard to hit the right bumper reload at the exact time when in the middle of things. I hope they improve it.

I think I enjoy the PVP? I have always been real bad at it and would be the lowest on the pole when playing along with bone krew but maybe the TTK time in this new version helps a bit? I feel like I can hang back and go slower, keep my health up, not get pounced, and kill. Also, a rift in just the right place with two people behind it can absolutely shred a choke point. I also like heavy ammo availability. It's good that you can grab it any time and there's not a heavy ammo phase anymore. That was always so fleeting and boring.
