Women in islamic countries wear them because a crowd will stone them to death for not wearing it. They only leave the house with a male escort because they will be savagely raped if found alone. This terrorist attack has the express purpose of stopping women from gathering in public for unapproved activities like singing and dancing. Much like the sexual assaults in cologne they inspire fear in women. Then you see suggestions from the left that women bring a male escort with them when out in public...
