As someone who watches the Belgian League: KAS Eupen, the team he's currently playing for, is linked to some academy in Qatar, the Aspire Academy. They stall a ton of players there and they're not all scrubs. Onyekuru scored 22 goals this season and Eupen wasn't really fighting relegation, they finished 13th.
I rate him, but I'm not sure he'll slot right into Arsenal, but we'll see I guess. He's only 19 too, so there's still a lot of progression there.

Does Belgium have a different naturalisation process? Has he been in the country long enough?
Seems like they might have tracked him during his time at Aspire and just waited to see how he turned out. Just short of £7m seems like a bit much though.

So what's Conte gonna do now?
I thought Lukaku was to be the replacement for Costa after he chased him out of the club.

All clubs with high wage bills have that problem. United sell very cheaply e.g. letting Rooney go for free just to get him off the books. Chelsea and City create loan armies.

Arsenal are not alone in overpaying for players but their inability to hold onto the ones they need is entertaining.

How well did Draxler do in France? How much would he go for, €50-€60m?
Sixth months is a pretty short time to be moved on.

The only thing missing from this transfer window is an £X million + 1 bid. Make it happen Arsene.

Southampton might get a significant chunk of the Ox money due to a sell-on clause. Arsenal are, very carefully, doing an extremely terrible job of literally everything.

Didn't they also reject £25 million for Chambers from Crystal Palace?

Llorente to Spurs makes slightly more sense to me than Chelsea but not by much.

£15m is good money.

He's a decent player, if the price is correct seems like a tidy bit of business.
