The spastic beats are a recent development and they mostly sound like the same boring blare of noise. But it should hopefully be pretty easy to understand the appeal of their earlier albums, Exmilitary, The Money Store. There are some very good beats, extremely catchy hooks, and ridiculous lyrics that are made even better by Ride's screaming them.
