How is this real life, it's like we're being encouraged to watch the testimony and watch Trump's twitter feed live.

This is the best marketing I've ever seen.

Edit: when is the testimony and how do I watch it live? I've got time on Thursday to make this happen.

I know that I seriously prefer open testimony, but what hands are on the till here? The public doesn't get to vote Sessions out of office so he's not particularly beholden to them. Who gets to bring charges against the AG if he slips up and perjurs himself or more likely, admits to doing something woefully illegal?

So there is insufficient evidence that would suggest an impending robot/automation disaster.

Yes there are real problems in the labor market right now that have suppressed wages and job creation, but the source of that lies in our policies regarding globalization, collective bargaining, unemployment, etc. Nothing to do with automation/tech/robots. That narrative is distracting from what truly needs to be addressed: the lack of wage growth and growing inequality caused by policies that have moved economic power from low/mid wage workers, but also our productivity growth is far too low.

It's a game of rock paper scissors. Globalization beats American Manufacturing, Tesla's Gigafactor beats Globalization. Nothing beats the Gigafactory except Full Socialism, I think.

Puerto Rico wouldn't be enough house seats to flip it. 2018 is still going to be a real roughshod election year.

That said, if we get a D swing like 2010 again then the democrats should give statehood to every minor island and principality. Hell, break California into three states.

Wow, such urgency.

Not to put party before country, but this might not be necessarily a great thing. I imagine the Republicans are starting to see that this bandaid has to be pulled off, and as that's the case, they really need to do it as far out from the 2018 elections as humanly possible. There are only so many months they can campaign on "bringing back integrity to the party now that we've hung Trump for Treason". That sort of campaiging is the only way democrats don't get an insane wave in 2018 reminiscent of 2008.

As an aside: Holy poo poo, the Republicans are pro all the vile things in the world that would allow them to maybe actually hang Trump for treason. That would definitely get out the vote come next election cycle.

I believe it is in fact illegal for the @potus Twitter to have any tweets removed since they are considered official government documents. I think Trump has deleted at least one though I could be wrong.

However I think what Trump tweets on his personal Twitter he can do whatever he wants with. I think this is the one he uses for his crazy 3am medicated rants

Trumps personal tweets are official statements from the president, as per both Sean Spicer and codified in a recent Supreme Court 9th Circuit Court Ruling. We should get a lawsuit together to force Twitter to undelete all of Trump's old tweets, as it's literally illegal for them to perform such an action.

Edit: wasn't actually a SupCom ruling, editing to be correct.

Also unlike Montana which remains a deep red state this Georgia district has been trending purple for years now so big turnout doesn't simply mean more Republicans.

Is it because being a bunch of broke brained pessimists allows you to always move the goal posts so that you're, in the end, always right about something?
