I don't even think Hack makes the 53-man roster.

He's 100% making the roster and likely starting 10+ games.

Until they cut Josh McCown I don't think the Jets are as committed to tanking as they should be.

Well, for those keeping score:

• Tyrod has been up and down
• Nate Peterman's arm sucks
• TJ Yates has been good
• Cardale Jones will probably be cut
• Tre White has looked outstanding for a rookie
• Zay Jones is okay
• Mike Tolbert is getting a lot of work, both blocking and running
• Andre Holmes looks good
• Shaq Lawson looks better in a 4-3
• Reggie Ragland has been a second-string MLB

I'll always hate him for cheap shotting Aaron Williams out of the league, but I feel like there have been a lot of rumors of Landry being a mega dick, no?

I don't know, what did you look forward to in Raiders seasons pre-Carr?

Bears fans can hope one of their quarterbacks is good, 49ers fans want to see Shanahan magic and build a solid core before drafting a QB next year, Ravens fans can hope for a healthy Flacco and a playoff run, and the Jaguars, um, I'll have to pass.

I think Macc and Bowles survive pretty much anything short of open revolt. Everyone including the fans seem to be on board with tearing it down and rebuilding young, and Woody is preoccupied with being an ambassador at the moment so hopefully less meddlesome.

That's interesting. I didn't realize they were still so high on Bowles. I assumed they were sort of slow-playing his firing and that his goose was cooked absent a totally remarkable season.

Hodges is pretty good though, and probably much faster than Ragland. If they're prioritizing coverage at the position, it makes perfect sense.

Yeah Ragland was picked for a 3-4 as a thumper in the middle and the Bills just switched their scheme AGAIN back to a 4-3.

It's a welcome change since most of the personnel thrived as a 4-3 under Shwartz and Shaq Lawson can now play a position he's more comfortable with. I can't get over how loving dumb it was to force a 3-4 because of Rex's precious system.

What's the ideal outcome for the Jets season if I hate them? Would it be Hackenberg having a Bortles-esque rookie season, winning three games, moving the Jets out of QB range and convincing brass that they have something worth exploring in him? Or should I just keep it simple and root for the infamy of 0–16 and worry about Darnold later?

It's probably my reverse racism kicking in, but for some reason I didn't expect him to that much work between the tackles.

Both Tre White and Zay Jones have been getting fairly glowing coverage among Bills beat writers. Both will be the #1 of their respective position groups because of the Bills good rear end trades.
