Yeah Bogart, that was a huge fuckup on their part too. They only have the original TSW on steam but they've labeled it as Secret World Legends there. I did the exact same thing you did and had to re-download the correct client from Funcom.

Try making a new tab with no general chat subscription, but also make sure that the option to "auto-subscribe to new channels" is not checked.

Discord is overwhelmingly the most popular choice among the people I game with. It's nice to have all of my chat across all games consolidated into one program. The players I game with who insist on some other program are split between Mumble, Ventrilo, and TeamSpeak and constantly bitch at each other and their other teammates trying to gain converts.

I sure don't. It was one of my initial weapon picks for tanking but I found it way easier to use shotgun or hammer so I dropped it. I think it could use a boost.
