What the hell do the DUP actually want for Brexit?

They don't want a hard border, but don't want NI to have a 'special' status that's different from rest of UK. Now apparently don't want to be in the custom union.

Whats the 'drawbacks' to staying the EU Custom union as far as leavers are concerned?

Isn't it just tariff free/paperwork free trade within the EU area + turkey?

They're hoping they can negotiate a deal that would basically be the same as in the customer union, without being bound by that bit of it.

Which won't happen.
