What the hell do the DUP actually want for Brexit? They don't want a hard border, but don't want NI to have a 'special' status that's different from rest of UK. Now apparently don't want to be in the custom union. How the hell do you achieve all of that?

Whats the 'drawbacks' to staying the EU Custom union as far as leavers are concerned? Isn't it just tariff free/paperwork free trade within the EU area + turkey?

Right so this is basically going to come down to another case of having cake and eat it too. They're hoping they can negotiate a deal that would basically be the same as in the customer union, without being bound by that bit of it. Which won't happen.
