Didn't Yougov, at one point predict a victory for Scottish Independence? Optimism isn't worthless but I would be a bit more careful on basing hope upon a sole poll!

I am not saying that everything is a land of hopes and puppies at this point but there is something frankly amazing in how the tone of this thread has shifted in a mere three days. Of course things could still utterly go to poo poo but goddamm

My only concern about a hypothetical election is what if Tories elect someone who is at least seemingly human? Jokes about Tories aside, I do wonder if it's more May that is doing damage to the Conservative Party than their own policies themselves. I mean I know the manifesto was a very strange move but with a new leader, wouldn't the Tories be in a far better position to take on a new electino?
