You only have to look to Syria to see how real the threat of massacres and genocide is when you see rebels and freedom fighters supported by locals go up against Arab Nationalists. The people defending Gaddafi and Al-Assad are not your's or anyone's friends. They do not have the interests of the world in their best interests. They aren't leftists. The whole Syrian war is a loving violent uprising of the lower classes who were literally starved during a famine against the ruling family - who are basically royalty.

You can reach Italy, France and Spain by boat. They are very close by. Imagine millions of people trying to cross the Mediterranean during a 6 year civil war like the Syrian one and how that would of affected politics . The Libya conflict as it was handled saw little bloodshed, and minimal refugees. Let us not forget Kosovo and the Balkans. When Europe denied and Balked at the idea of Bill Clinton intervening to prevent the genocide of Muslims. Muslims were not "part of european culture" and did not deserve protection from genocide he was told by the leaders of England, France, and Spain. So, it doesn't really matter if you intervene and something bad happens any time later you'll be called names. If you don't intervene and something much worse happens you'll be called imperialist. Well I know which war did not cause a massive 6 year civil war or refugee crisis. If you ask me Obama and the west should of intervened in Syria and killed Bashar Al-Assad earlier. He asked Congress to give him the power to do that and they did not. They have blood on their hands of every man, women, and child killed in this genocide of a immoral war against the poorest of the poor. And every leftist who avoids intervention due to "imperialism" has that same blood on your hands. If we are to be the moral leaders of the world we can not stand by idly and allow women and children to be massacred by powerful fascist sycophants no matter where on earth it is. And that's why europeans are a bunch of cucks and pussies.
