CyberPingu posted:Doesnt it really all hinge around the severity of the situation. If a guy is running around with a knife then you should try to subdue him, at worst a pop shot in the leg to take him down. But if someone is in a bomb jacket then I dont know if they have much choice. As already stated that's not the shoot to kill policy that Corbyn was being asked about. It's been really badly reported

I live in a Lib Dem/ Tory marginal ( historically Lib, but Tory won in 2915 with 4%) where Labour polled less than UKIP last time (7.8%). Labour haven't even sent out any election leaflets as far as I can tell. I really don't know if I can do the allegedly sensible thing and vote Lib Dem, coz gently caress that shitweasal Farron

fridge corn posted:Im the same and voted Lib dem cuz at least the local candidate is a good guy and has been good for the constituency when he was MP before (he lost to the tories in 2015) Ours is a new candidate. The previous incumbent was Steve Webb ( former Pensions minister in the coalition )and I think despite about fifteen years of reasonable good service to the area he got ducked hard over the coalition. Gah. For the first time in my life, having voted since 1992, I've got a manifesto and leader of a party I truly believe in, and I can't even vote for his party without it potentially being the wrong move.

Barry Foster posted:Yeah just gotta think of it as a vote against the tories rather than a vote directly for JC. Really sucks though. That's the issue. I'm 43 and felt disenfranchised all my life and spent every election voting against something. Corbyn has finally given me something to vote for.
