Oh man, Christopher Walken Dad is just too cool for this BB universe, isn't he? He's gonna be first boot and I'm going to be so mad. Just based on the interview with Big Jeff that guy has a story about every minutiae of life you throw at him.

Teek posted:Yeah, that seems assured. It would probably add an additional DE to the schedule. They couldn't do that with the $25k prize because then Christopher Walken would have been really exposed and hosed and it was all a means to get Friendship into the house anyways.

Oh I see... yeah, the no veto chip in the bag is pretty smart and innocuous but that doesn't rule out a Hamster's Choice Pick loophole.

In your consequences scenario couldn't there be a fourth option in: House public penalty, Further House penalty if a penalty task is not completed? This was done to moderate success throughout the Australian version of BB where their BB ruled with an iron fist and wasn't a pushover.

I'm watching the fallout since Paul's HOH win and I an absolutely delighted watching Jessica and Cody's fall from grace. I don't particularly like the fact Paul won but with his immunity what better way to burn a week than with an HOH win. He's only safe next week then he is back down in the streets. Cody and Jessica did everything wrong the very first HOH week (the loooong week). They hooked up, they hosed and continued to ostracize themselves from the rest of the house. It's a big uphill climb to get out from under and neither have any inclination to right their sinking ship and change or at the least behave and cohabitate with "the rubes". Cody and Jessica's crew abandoned them rightfully so but yet they are pity partying and claiming victim. gently caress those two self-righteous pricks. They reap what they have sewn. And Paul's possible hair-brained ideas are only gonna leave them stewing. Dare I say Friendship Week could be the best week? I say this not as the biggest Paul fan too. edit: *** FOR THE RECORD: I'm like 4 hours behind STAC Goat's recaps *** Robnoxious fucked around with this message at 10:40 on Jul 7, 2017 |

Christmas bouncing because of her surgery and Cody hitting the bricks would be the most lovely poetic justice this week can provide. Jessica would be unable to process it but in pure Jess fashion she will deal with it in the most immature method available. This is like Thanksgiving... because it gives and gives. I need punkin' pie!

Turbl posted:On one hand I'm glad Cody is back because I think he's hilarious and he just said he was coming after Paul. On the other hand I'm not looking forward to Cody+Jess shacking back up and becoming intolerable again. Is it too much to hope that they've learned from this and will be more sociable and play a better game? Only difference is they are pretty much untouchable the first time they are on the block. It takes two weeks to break these two up because of Jessica's "power". Which begs the question as to what the curse of Jessica's power will do? There is something in the works, that much is guaranteed.

Jessica's hex supposedly comes with a curse that will change-up the game mechanics on the entire house... whatever the hell that means. This is per Chenbot last week or the week before. Speculation is fruitless at this point shortly before the show airs tonight but I have nothing but high hopes it'll go over like a wet fart.

It's the right play, even if it makes Paul's HOH a moot point. Jess' power has to be flushed out. Now the onus is on Jess, if Cody wins Veto and takes Jess off (to be loyal and chivalrous and yadda yadda yadda) or Jess wins and takes herself off does she burn her power just for another week of snuggle time with Cody or put it in her pocket for the next round down the road? Sure anything can happen, Jess and Cody could win HOH after the reset and then they'll be up in HOH being smug but is that option really in Jess' best interest? Hard to say. Jess and Cody are superficial as gently caress and both up their own asses so of course Jess will use her power if either one of them remains on the block come Thursday.

STAC Goat posted:I'd guess that's Jess' "career concern" since she name drops celebrities and acts like a big shot. She was talking yesterday about how sad she was that she missed Nicole Aniston's Memorial Day party. So as much as she talks about "black balling" the other HGs the reality is she has no power to do that and she's just posturing, but CBS could probably black ball her from quite a bit. Anyways, all I'm saying is Jessica doth protests too much... but I guess she does have a certain factor that certain Simi Valley studios look for.

STAC Goat posted:Josh advised against it since he's a jury vote but Paul pretty much reiterated that he doesn't think about Jury Management. All it will do is expose Paul as not being true to his word because he helped Kevin deflect deflect deflect the accusations that Kevin took the $25K and helped pin it on Ramses every chance he got. It's not the Ace-In-The-Hole Paul thinks it is at this point. In BB world it's really digging up ancient history.

STAC Goat posted:I guess everyone is as invested as I am at this stage but at some point today Paul used the POV on Alex and Kevin went up. Jason and Alex think Kevin is the target and Paul reassured Kevin that he's fine and to just play like he's going home. I have no details or opinion because I didn't turn the feeds on today and ain't gonna start now. I guess he had to do it so to keep playing his ping-pong alliance game but @F7 Paul might very well be showing his cards too hastily. Christmas has been onto Paul's ruse for awhile now. If ever there was a time to flip the script, now would be that time but it won't happen because the dumb-dumbs will look to Paul for sage advice.
