Warning that CBR is a garbage website and already spoiled tomorrow's issue of Batman.

Well to be fair, DC did the Marvel thing and broke this to legit new sites like USA Today in order to hype the book. So it would be silly of them not to cover it.

People think I'm joking when I always say Batman '66 is the greatest superhero media ever made and that likely will ever be made, but I'm not. In my opinion it will always be the best. I thought that when I was a kid and I think that now, and for different reasons now than then. Adam West will be missed.

I love that scene where Batman and Robin go to confront King Tut, and they know he's a bad guy and Robin's all for bringing him in, when Batman says, "Robin, the Constitution provides that a man is innocent until proven guilty. And the Constitution is the cornerstone of our great nation. We must abide by it," so they leave without doing anything. It's great.

King Tut is probably right behind Riddler as my favorite villain on the show solely on the back of Victor Buono. Buono took the role because as a serious stage actor he loved to be able to completely let loose and being as ridiculous and corny as possible and it totally comes through in his performance. That scene in particular is one of my favorite King Tut scenes.

Here it is: https://streamable.com/ym3t4

It's all the little things you might not notice if you're not watching closely, like as he talks about the Constitution he looks right into the camera and the viewer. And then on the way out I love how he tips his cowl to the people moving out of his way. Adam West always played it completely straight and that's part of what makes it so amazing.

FYI, I bought Adam West's DVD a few years ago and it's one of the weirdest funniest things I own and I love it. I think I'll watch some of it today. It's called Adam West Naked, so yeah go ahead and do a Google Search for that.

No poo poo! Well, thank you. Can't wait to read that Beetle and Booster story. Here's hoping for a happy ending for them!

It’s Injustice. A happy ending probably isn’t in the cards.

Someone should have said to Don "Oh, you mean like the Carl Barks books?"

I always thought Rosa somehow looked like an even more assholish version of Larry David (or more appropriately a human Scrooge McDuck) so finding out he's one of those "Uh, actually guys DuckTales is just a rip-off of blah blah blah blah" guys just makes a lot of sense. I mean how can you even make any kind of overprotective claim on Scrooge McDuck when your name isn't Carl Barks?

The current Miles is definitely the Miles from the Ultimate Universe, but his past has been altered in some way. Spider-Men II is going to dive into that and will also touch on the Miles Morales that is originally from the 616 universe that was teased in the first Spider-Men series.

Mark Waid specifically said in an interview he wasn't killing anyone. So I think they're just hyping it to hype it.

Archie has done tragedies on this level before, but they’re always out of main continuity. What was the pressure like pitching this storyline knowing how it would impact on the current Archie universe in such a huge way?

Waid: It’s funny, because I feel like I’ve spent more time explaining that we’re NOT killing anyone than talking about the real story here—which is to showcase how these characters handle themselves under extreme, stressful circumstances. This is a story about what happens when we make small, poor decisions and they end up having big ramifications. I’m more interested in showcasing how these characters evolve and respond to tragedy than just killing someone off for the shock value.

Seem Chaykin's new book is still causing headaches for Image. And wow that cover linked near the end of the article is among the most horrible covers I've ever seen.

I haven't been in a comic shop in years since going digital. What happens when a cover like that comes in? Obviously you can't put something like that on the shelves next to a Squirrel Girl or even Batman. Does it come in a bag that covers it up like gas station porn?
