Magic The Gathering was banned from my middle school because the rules said you could optionally ante a card that the winner gets, so it was gambling.

And none of those were either of the Guardians of the Galaxy movies! Know how I know The Rundown was good? Because it had a Rock Bottom in the first five minutes.

Last time I saw Rosa, he had a sign saying he wouldn't sign the Boom reprints of Life and Times. I wonder what the story is there.

X-Men (1992) #1 is certainly a good cover for Cyclops. Maybe Long Bow Hunters #1 for GA?

They definitely intended Ghostbusters 2016 to be the start of a ~cinematic universe~ though I'm not sure about the specific details of future additions.

If you want them graded, CGC is pretty much the only option worth bothering with. As for selling, ebay is probably your best option, despite its issues. Just make sure to document everything you do.

Wheat Loaf posted:Is Zorro the first American superhero in any medium? In terms of publication, he's the earliest one (1919) that occurs to me. What's the dividing line between a pulp hero and a superhero? It really depends on what you define an American superhero as, but Hugo Hercules predates Zorro by 17 years. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hugo_Hercules As for pulps, they were defined as large anthology books on lovely paper (not unlike how manga is published in Japan to this day), and could include any number of genres including, I'm sure, superhero stories once those became popular. Wiki has a list of superhero appearances, with Spring-Heeled Jack being in the 1800s, but I have a hard time including an urban legend put in comics a century later as a superhero. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_superhero_debuts Endless Mike fucked around with this message at 21:53 on Jun 27, 2017 |
