center of screen and the tweeters on your l/r channel speakers should be at eye/ear hight, you can fudge a little on the center since perceptual effects will make it feel like it's coming out of the screen but an acoustically transparent projection screen would be ideal for a dedicated theater

americans spend a lot of time and money justifying that the thing they stare at 4-9 hours a day [or is on next to them as they stare at a second smaller thing] isn't "the focal point" even though it's probably 99% of all time spent in living rooms
