Ole Miss is totally going for the Mad Hatter. That place is all about starting the SEC retread wagon, maybe they can get the retread this time!

Lane Kiffin's brother left Ole Miss to go work with Lane, and he was one of the coaches that got busted as part of the NCAA investigation, so even if Lane weren't absolutely trolling that might complicate things slightly.

Ole Miss is going to endure a year with an interim and then hire some mediocre coach. The Kiffin fanfic is fun, though.

When I was 17, my father was so stupid, I didn't want to be seen with him in public. When I was 24, I was amazed at how much the old man had learned in just 7 years.
I think Rodriguez still is liked by the fan base that isn’t “is it basketball season yet?” so I do hope he stays. But unfortunately that is a pretty small group of people and like we could be talking like 30% full stadium by the end which will make it difficult to keep him, especially for a new AD.

Kliff is more of a Mike Leach, Dana Holgerson, or Bill Belichick disciple than Kevin Sumlin. I mean, I guess he followed Sumlin from UH to A&M, but that's giving Sumlin a bit much credit.

Actually, looking through a bunch of those, it's giving a lot more credit to a lot of people than they deserve. Dana in Gundy's tree? Nah. He installed the O at OSU, but that's about it. And why is Neal Brown joined under Mike Gundy?

Yeah it's just doing things conveniently to make a pretty chart. Which as long as you don't look at it as the last word can at least be somewhat interesting.

Barry Odom is part of Gary Pinkel's tree in reality but it's interesting he coached for a while under Fuente who's now moved on to VT.
