Just in case y'all aren't keeping up with the Hams for Hunger thread:Safety Factor posted:A few weeks ago, I was contacted by Hedningen who had an idea on how to help promote this thread and encourage some more donations. He doesn't paint much, but he does sculpt and he volunteered to make a special plague doctor model exclusive to this thread/event. I have really appreciated all the effort he's put into this and, with the model complete and casting starting up, we are ready to make the announcement: A little update on the thread: Things have gone much faster than I expected. I have already hit my original $5000 limit, but in an effort to keep things going longer I have pledged another $2,000. Goonhammer has also sponsored $500 and there are still almost $2000 in unfinished challenges. Combine that all with existing donations and we are looking at over $10,000 in charitable contributions by the end of this.

Everything else has been 30k stuff that had some quick 40k rules typed up, like Custodes or a few AdMech units. My guess is that FW hasn't reopened yet because GW needs all the manpower and production capacity to catch up with their plastic range.
