all the old HPUX boxes at work has 2000 to 3000 days of uptime and everyone who cared about them already quit so I guess it will just keep increasing until something catches on fire

[05.11.15 14:50:05] root@hermes/home2/stemple# uptime 2:50pm up 2246 day(s), 17:34, 7 users, load average: 0.00, 0.00, 0.01 It would have been closer to 5000 days if that stupid Sun Netra box had redundant power supplies, I had to power it down when the power infrastructure was redesigned It didn't get shutdown permanently until late 2016 so it made it to 2600 or so, but I can't find the screenshot I took. [edit] it ran an internally developed timekeeping script in pure bourne shell scripting and sybase SQL (C) 1992
