That LaVar segment was absolutely hilarious and you could tell nobody in WWE actually knew what they were getting into until they handed him a live mic. Dean's music hit a good 5 minutes earlier than they probably planned for.

Niwrad posted:So did they abruptly cut off that Lavar segment last night? Seemed kind of an odd way to end it. Oh yeah, Vince killed it off. They just hit Dean's music out of nowhere and went to commercial without even landing the main punchline of the segment (Dean getting the BBB deal instead of Miz). And apparently the Balls were supposed to be ringside during the match but lol that wasn't happening now.

Another crappy Smackdown. And the Jinder/Orton poo poo somehow keeps getting worse. How do they look at the Joe/Brock stuff on Raw and think "yes, what SD's title scene really needs is bringing back a 10-year-old gimmick match everyone hated the last time out"

Does anyone under the age of 50 (or under a median income of, like, $500K) actually give a poo poo about timeshares? Who the hell thought that gimmick would get heat with wrestling crowds in 2016/17?

Jerusalem posted:No offense to Primo and Epico because I'm sure they tried their best with the lovely gimmicks they were eternally saddled with, but weren't they purely brought back in as a gesture to Carlos Colon when they inducted him into the Hall of Fame? They were brought in several years before Carlos got inducted, but yeah, I think WWE just kept them around as a favor to the family despite giving them the worst bottom-of-the-card gimmicks.
