Anyone else see the salvage corvette over on jalopnik they built up for pikes peak? While he had 50k+ given to him in work and materials the idea of salvage hot car built into a track monster is very intriguing. Wish he would post what he paid for it (z06 with 9 miles on it)

I won $560 today at a casino by only spending 20 bucks.

Started that poo poo with 9 free spins, but then it just kept giving me more and more as I went on. Ended up winning $442 on that machine alone, and then was lucky on a couple other machines.

Put $560 on black. Or red. Or 00. Doesn't matter you can't be stopped be smart and win for your family! Or to save FedEx!

Firing customers is sometimes easy. Other times it is hard when they are completely volatile. I have been drafting an email to a customer off and on all morning making sure the words are chosen tactfully so that it ends the business relationship but leaves him little to no recourse for bitching and moaning on social media about it.

Life advice: if you somehow find a problem with every single thing you ever get from a company and find yourself to be the only one experiencing problems :siren:you are the problem.:siren: Accept defeat, move on. You have taken enough time and resources.

I am known as being kind, patient, good and inexpensive but when some rear end in a top hat is being an idiot and upsets me I love that I can fire that customer and tell them never to return. Love it.

Hmm, that reminds me, I have an old Sony high end CD player from the early 90's that ran when parked but isn't working anymore. Is it worth it to get it fixed? I'm sure just getting it diagnosed locally is gonna cost at least $60 or more....Any good places online i could ship it off too? Anyone here wanna take a shot at it?

[edit] and by shot I don't mean literally shoot it ok

Check eBay for values I don't know if it is worth $1 or $1m but I had a Sony minidisc deck I bought for like $50 on clearance and in 2005-7 I sold for $650 on eBay long after minidisc was dead

And I might have already replaced it in the fleet.

whoops

Late night drunk talk you should live in a free or almost free apartment as long as you can (as I hypocritically post from my paid off house that is worth 50% more than I paid for it) but still accumulate wealth. Invest.

I hope you do well and document it for us, not sure why you would think goons wouldn't be interested. Be safe. We care.

I spoke about the plans with some other goons/friends prior and the general consensus was that it was either the dumbest loving thing, or why would anybody want to leave the us and move to such a dump, that I should try Atlanta instead.

Well you are doing it and people are concerned we can drop that now and want pics incoming.

We're playing it by ear for now. And since I have free parking at mom's and dad's I figure I can do whatever I want car wise. I still want an Evo but realistically that's 1/4 the cost of a house. I can get a house and THEN get an EVo.

Buying this house was amazing smart for me. Living for free or almost sounds amazing smart for you. Bubbles happen and then burst you do what you want to do.

I just finished shooting my 2000th nail through my $12 after coupon harbor freight air nailer that says oil before each use and guess what I haven't oiled it a single time! No one tells me what to do!

In other news I am 6'2 (with eyes of blue) and while I can only speak of 90s cars with authority as that is when I delivered cars for a detail shop I comfortably fit in anything from Yugo to Renault to Neon to Viper.
