My friend Andrew Zimmern (I call everyone I watch on tv for more than an hour my friend, I feel like after staring at someone intently and listening to their words for that long makes them a not stranger any more and therefore are my friend) said that if you don't gag after eating it the first time you're a man. Do you know any women who tried it and didn't gag and if so was there like a transformation? Thank you in advance!

i went to iceland because of something i did in eve online the videogame and the water smells like farts and there are no trees and even in the summer when its supposed to be nice and warm and good a single stiff breeze from the north will cleave you in two so overall i'd rate it 3 out of 5 stars e. i also went in the summer and the night clubs stay open all loving night and there';s banging tunes on the go 24/7 when you're just trying to get some sleep |

i have some relatives there, and i only visited once but i loved it. my aunt gave me the "special treatment" (nothing sexual) instead of just going on the golden circle and showed me all these cool places. taking in the landscapes i think is the best part of it, and it's worth it hanging out with my cousin and going to the clubs were fun. they had one bouncer from the US that was from the army, stationed there and got a job for the night at a club. he was trying to stop people from going upstairs because it's supposed to close at a certain time, but people there pushed by him and were like "eff you american soldier, don't tell us icelanders what to do" iceland has no army, but they do have a "crisis response unit" that probably has probably a little more than 150 people. even though it is so small, most of the citizens don't like it because it goes agains their tradition of practicing pacifism, and being non-mitilarized. the big guns are brought by the US with a coast guard stationed there, and more firepower if any country ever wants to mess around |

Most of those pics were beautiful, but this one made me laugh! I don't know if it is a "heres a place for you american tourists to go" or "us locals want to go to a cool bar like they have in america" but it is funny either way.

The first is themed after bowling, then there's a room themed after an American front porch, then a diner. Unfortunately the Treehorn themed upstairs patio was closed when I was there as it was too cold, but the bathrooms downstairs and the stairs down are themed after the Jackie Treehorn bit too. Here are my photos, sorry they aren't the best, the lighting was a little dim.     There's like palm trees and stuff down there. I didn't want to be walking around the bathroom with a camera out, so no pic from down there but it's all themed too and like there's fake palm trees.   They had a whole special white russian menu, of course. The food and drinks were fine, certainly nothing to get too excited about, but eh, it's all fairly fun. Like everything in Iceland, tho, it's pretty expensive: A bacon burger, fries, and a soda is about $23.50. Huh, thats pretty neat! I had some of "The Dudes Brew" or something at a casino once, and the taps were shaped like bowling pins. I wonder if that's what they had there, looks sort of the same. The one I had was some seasonal draft beer and was pretty good.
