Chef De Cuisinart posted:Funny story, on my way back from having my MRI just now, I walked since the place is like, 3/4 of a mile down the road. Lady coming out of the fast food place on the corner nearly hits me in a lifted F-350, so I continue to walk at my brisk pace and she rolls down her window to yell at me to "get the gently caress out of the way" and nudges me with the truck. hahaha I always think that the trope of people smiling and not being huge dickholes in Cleveland/Midwest are exaggerated but after commuting via bike for three years and never having any experience even coming close to yours I'm inclined to believe it.

There's a chain known for it's "martinis", Bar Louie around here where I had to explain how to make a dry martini when I got dragged to a new restaurant opening. It came with brine...

Shooting Blanks posted:The problem with martinis in particular is that there is no consensus on how to make them any more. Too many times I had people order a martini when they really just wanted a cocktail glass full of chilled vodka because they thought it made them look fancy. The 80's are quickly becoming memory. It's everyone's duty to normalize it as a gin & vermouth drink nowadays.

wasn't there something here floating around wrt uber eats not actually bringing in profits? Seems to be lots of literature saying the same but the below gives a number that as these apps eat away from pick-up orders the application's partnership fee or w/e cuts into revenue too much for an average restaurant to be profitable. http://reformingretail.com/index.php/2016/10/19/the-huge-problem-with-online-ordering-that-nobody-talks-about/ Submarine Sandpaper fucked around with this message at 21:55 on Mar 28, 2018 |

that's a mathematical stretch to make 20 = 3 x 11. This thread's a bit of a circular firing squad right now. Union/strike is how to get living wages i.e. KY/OK/WV teachers but I doubt kitchen labor will ever organize that much. If CDC were to up everyone's wages I think he'd find himself unemployed especially in texas.

Price point idk, dude has been trying to get food trucks to come so he's able to sell non in-house beer but that's proved inconsistent at best. Right now he doesn't even have the headcount so leaning towards small bites, I don't have a handle on the kitchen space but I'll probably go visit it on Saturday. I thought of pickled eggs & small plate sodium citrate mac & cheese. I'll pass along http://www.tiredhands.com/cafe/menu we have a beer garden that does everything in a toaster oven locally but only finishes inhouse inhouse http://www.forestcitybrewery.com/bites/ idk how I forgot about salads.

You're assuming you're the only person who has experience and pretending there aren't vast differences in care between what you can afford and what someone making $10 an hour can manage. ritalin, specifically in the late 90's and early 00's was bad, yes. A lot of it due to racism in schools and seeing bored black kids as uppity while bored white kids were put into gifted programs before getting a script as the next step. Combined with the war on drugs and meth is super popular now. However adderal avoids some of the brain damage and dependencies that ritalin caused and is generally prescribed less. It's a tool that some people legitimately need.
