I downloaded this to burn time one day and its really sucked me in. I have no idea what im doing, I started as a Shadow and built myself for dots and ranged damage with a bow. Does anyone else play this? Seems like it would be more fun with people

I got addicted to this a couple weeks ago and it's great fun. some tips for new players to make it more fun are installing a loot filter so you dont see all the useless drops, looking up the forums for a build guide to max out your dps so you can actually beat endgame bosses, use a third party trading website that copies a message to whisper people in game, not using any of your orbs for crafting because you should spend them trading with people through the third party site, and buying some microtransaction inventory tabs so you can sell your own items through the third party site to get more crafting orbs that you can spend on gear for your other five characters

don't do what i did, which is to not invest in whatever gives you health. i got to the first major hurdle of the game, got shredded in 2 seconds, and the response from people who play was that my character was beyond repair because i didn't spec to the right health amount.

i think a key problem with the game is that it starts out way too easy and that kind of encourages players to skip health and defenses, and then in act4-5 all the sudden everything hits like a truck

i figured it was like most ARPGs in the way that health didn't matter if you had life leech, which i did, but the Lab boss was the first time I couldn't outpace damage with damage.

in non diablo style aids games theres nothing more epic than completely ignoring health upgrades and just pumping all your upgrades for damage and moves and surviving the late game purely by avoiding damage with your gamer skill

Leech builds kinda suck till late game iirc. But yeah everyone in this game builds health, except for people using this one passive that sets your HP to 1. They use energy shield the same way though.
