The UK thought it would be a good idea to break off eve though the only reason their economy exists is so English speaking countries can do business with Europe and the EU is going to fall to infighting. The land itself is spent, it relies heavily on Moroccan phosphate just to keep the grass growing for livestock and crops that haven't been able to feed the populace for centuries. There isn't a gram of tin or iron left in its mines, and no one wants coal anymore. Trade is all they have.

I honestly believe that we Britons might have one last chance to reverse this decision, but only one. In what form that chance comes in, I do not know. Once that is done, we are on our own, and Scotland will thrive independently as it fosters a good relationship with the EU.
