The other day I felt lazy, so had leftover cole slaw as a main dish. It was over-dressed, so I added the same volume of corn flakes. Added leftover homemade tomatillo sauce. It was loving amazing.

I use dish soap when washing my cast iron pans (it doesn't hurt it I say).

:same: with a scouring pad and sometimes copper wool

Sara Moulton, who had several cooking shows and who was a chef at Gourmet for 20 years, recently admitted she can't cook rice and uses a rice cooker. You're in good company.

Though everyone still silently judges the two of you.

Confession: I tried to do a microwave cookie yesterday. Those are sketchy even if executed faithfully. I made an off-the-cuff substitution because I couldn't be bothered to crack an egg.

It turned out mushy and unevenly too hot, but I ate every sludgy bit with a scoop of vanilla ice cream because I am a sweet tooth fatty.

I baked real cookies two days ago but left them at work :negative:

e: still about as good as PJ's "pazookies"

Hell yeah. Put 1/2 inch water in a bowl with a couple tamales, cover with a damp paper towel, and nuke that sumbitch until it's ready to eat.
