TheKeyPlay used to be a really great place for VT stuff, but the owner seems intent on making it way more than it should be and slowly ruining it in the process. He wants it to be a legit media outlet and sorry but there just aint the money for it man. All their best stuff is behind a paywall now, and the posters have some decent respect and takes but get all weird about recruiting. It's dumb, it used to be okay and now its dumb. The SBN VT site was really good, now its just kinda meh. That's about it, but way less offensively stupid than most other large fanbases as far as I can tell. I don't frequent TSL or the 247 VT forums tho so I'm sure there is plenty of stupid there. CFB is the better game so its no surprise r/CFB is better than r/NFL

I go to r/cfb for news mostly, and there are some posters on there who make some pretty incredible content, like the CFB land map guy. Like all subreddits, I generally stay out of the comments though.

Team specific message boards are a window into the mind of the baby boomer. It's pretty fascinating - the demographics are generally very well off, 40+, white and hyper conservative. r/cfb is fine except for their don't poo poo on Penn State for being worse than the catholic church - literally everything about PSU should have that as a string of responses.

I was just going back and forth with a buddy about the UGA UT game because he's telling me that UT is going to cover the spread and also likely beat UGA. I tell him he's wrong. He says he's never wrong. I remind him that he also told me with 100% certainty that Easons knee was destroyed and he wouldn't play again this season. He says that he still won't. I told him that Eason is practicing and he can't back out of his claim because Fromm was better than expected. He says that Easons knee is destroyed and asked me if I'd seen the Friday Night Lights movie because if Boobie can get through it Eason can. I just don't know with this guy.
