Ya'all arguing with a LWB rereg. Anyway, I feel like the best Seahawks are between Walt, Earl, and Cortez (rip). I'm leaning towards Walt cause goddamn I'd kill for a good LT right now.

To be fair if you randomly selected 100 Hawks fans like 96 wouldn't know who Walter Jones is (or any other player from before 2011).

Wrong people believe there's an argument Walter Jones is the best lineman of all time. Almost no one lists largent in the top 5 wrs, barring maybe caste Football.

This thread inspired me to think of a good question, called: which player do you think is the best player who ever was on your favorite team? for example, not my team but, I'd say for the 49ers it's Jerry Rice. Answer below

Eifert Posting posted:Almost no one lists largent in the top 5 wrs, barring maybe caste Football. I mean, PFR's AV thinks he's the best Seahawks player. And even though that's a...questionable measurement, it's far from caste football. I'd pick Jones too, just noting that there's an actual argument there and not a caste football one.

Pushing an SUV around a parking lot near his home in Harvest, Ala. When he played for Aliceville (Ala.) High, Jones and the other linemen sometimes had to push small cars in preseason workouts. These days Jones is up to a three-ton Escalade. Twice-a-week truck pushing is the only lower-body training he does, and Jones says it's an excellent substitute for squats, which hurt his back.

Agreed with everyone who said that there are too many Raiders players to pick from. On the current team, zero dispute that it is Mack. I realize ~character~ concerns don't apply but Steve Largent is kind of a piece of poo poo irl which is why I'll never say he's the best Seahawk.

There's pretty good consensus that Drew Brees is the #1 Saints player of all time, but that's more an indictment of the first 40 years of the team than anything else.

Out of curiosity, since I mentioned AV earlier, here's the difference between the top two players on each team, which probably is closest to doubling as a lowest dispute over best player. AV does overrate quarterbacks a bit, and career length, but whatever, close enough. E. Err nevermind, I guess imgur is hosed at the moment.
