yes, but they're actually good features and the naming makes them obvious. imagine if they were called like zappl. i"t's easy! you just zappl™ the link to other connected browsers"

another good change from making paint.net store-compatible: you don't have to copy plugins to C:\Program Files\Paint.NET anymore, you can copy them into a directory under your home directory now.

also as soon as microsoft realizes they have something vaguely popular they take the thing and smear it on everything else. that's why they shuffle their brands around. "people like xbox? well, now our failing music service is called xbox! people like skype? well now our failing corporate chat is also called skype!"

i don't even mean the human effort required to review everything, i mean the tools available seem to be poo poo and a total afterthought.

after your white power clan gets shut down, that should automatically prevent you from making a new one, or a similar one, or at least flag you as requiring pre-approval

Wheany
Mar 17, 2006

Spinyahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

so don't pre-approve, just flag the account as "can't create new groups due to past bahavior"

if your platform is even moderately succesful, it will have troublemakers and sooner or later you will have to deal with it.

and that's actually true too, and also applies to news comments. let's promote the most "controversial" or "interesting" comment automatically to the top, where it sits with practically the same visibility as the news article, where people have a chance to get extremely mad at it and then want to reply to it. later the same people return to the page to see if their sick burns have gotten any upvotes, and you can serve them another batch of ads. :homebrew:
