I remember now: They're actually on Bowlroll. You can't find the Dia and Bort via the search, but here's a few others. Here's the page with Dia and Bort. If someone can figure out what the password is, please kick it my way.

Just watched this series, really liked it. I'll probably buy the japanese manga and make my way through it slowly with my rusty 2 years of college japanese. I saw a screencap of some of the english translations of the manga and thought poorly of the translation work, so it looks like it's time to refresh my memory

it has an official English release that reads very nicely and has little appendices with the tl notes. by the end of this year i think it'll be nearly caught up with japanese volumes

yeah the official translation is really good, they translate all the jokes/banter really well. the only real questionable choice is keeping sensei as just, well, 'sensei,' and you're kind of between a rock and a hard place for several reasons when it comes to that one.

Nah, just broken textures due to mojibake. Bort is fine. Dia has a few too many polys in the hair. I've seen far worse. Edit: Huh, if you figure Sensei is two meters tall (Budda was 6'7" to 6'10" by what I find, it fits) then Bort and most of the gems are just ~140cm or 4'7" I'm referencing a shot on the beach in episode 5 which isn't too foreshortened. A scene in episode 8 puts Antarcticite at 155cm (5'1") in heels, though Sensei might be bending a little. Unrelated: I just noticed Phos's gold transformation comes with opening like a lotus flower. This season covered the first 30 or so chapters, so there is just enough material now for a second season and a wrapped up arc for a stopping point. It would be another "continued in the manga" ending however , though this time it would conclude with things ramping up rather than winding down.

I drew my HnK fan OC like I said I would whoo. Chalcedony is kind of an insecure worrywart who likes keeping the school neat and clean and is willing to fold all the clothes. Also has very smooth hair and doesn't like having it out of place. They wish they had a brighter color of gem hair though, like blue or green.
