I imagine reverting a ban in d&d involves a lot paperwork, and it's still the weekend so finding a notary is going to take a while. Plus then Stringent will need to lay out the mod court fees (but you can claim these the following year if the IKs lose the appeal they just filed) before he gets fully reinstated But clearly the system works
