A Buff Gay Dude posted:lol of course some no-namer who was actually fouled gets brought up on diving charges because he maybe went down a bit easy Niasse isn't a no-namer and it wasn't a foul?

Loving Africa Chaps posted:Liverpool fan Such a weird hill for an Arsenal fan to be dying on. It wasn't a foul, Niassie was going down before the contact even happened. If we had video technology/diving review technology those three players probably would have gotten more bans and they would have deserved them. Why is it always "what about x" with football fans. I don't want to see diving in football and this is a good way to try and minimise it.

blue footed boobie posted:I mean, it’s not a foul, but he clearly isn’t going down before the contact happened. Weird way to look at it. Eh it's pretty split second. Either way the contact from the defender doesn't cause him to fall like that.

RideTheSpiral posted:hmm let’s do nothing about all the blatant dives but definitely ban this guy who went down a little easy after contact Blatant dives get punished by referees during the game These dives are the ones that con the refs, and get punished retrospectively Why is this so hard to understand?

RideTheSpiral posted:imagine thinking blatant dives get punished by refs in game smdh Can we agree that both should be punished? Niasse conned the referee and bought a penalty. It is absolutely correct that he should be punished for it. Referees should also be able to catch these incidents during the game, but when they don't having a back up plan is a good idea.
