Titans keep the lead! :toot:
They should have put that game away any time in the 3rd quarter; that touchdown->touchback really hurt. But still, the Titans have a secondary! Amazing!

Also the play-by-play guy (Stockton?) sounded like he was losing his short-term memory.

How the gently caress do you lose to a team QB'd by Brett Hundley?

Posted this in the AFC aftermath thread, but here it is again.

This week sums up Keenums play so far this year.

Overall stat line looks pretty good, but a lot of his big throws were to wide open players, and he had 4-5 throws that should of been picked off, but only 2 were.

His 1st was an awful throw into a group of 5 WAS and 1 MIN player. His 2nd was him starting down a slant and Swearinger making a good break on the ball.

His elusiveness is still good along with his mobility. But he has been bailed out by Shurmurs scheme and that Thielen, Diggs, and Rudolph are really really good. (Especially Diggs and Thielen, and especially especially Thielen.)

I'm still all aboard the Teddy train, but there will be plenty of hot takes from the talking heads about who to start vs LA next week.

Overall 7-2 is drat good and the Rams next week is going to be a huge game.

From observing WAS:

Chris Thompson is real good, and if Doctson / Cousins can get in sync they will be a deadly connection.

The Redskins moved the ball really well against the MN D. Most of it was underneath YAC, but they did well.

Their run game also looked much improved when Perine came in. Also, not sure what happened to Norman but WAS secondary had their worst game of the season.

The Bengals nearly beat a great team by playing heads up "ball" and contained the run relatively well considering the number of opponent offensive plays that were allowed by the cincinnati offense going 1/28 on third down. if the corners hadn't been injured and josh shaw wasn't in the game to commit bad penalties, it would have gone to overtime, indicating that both teams should have the same record actually. Looking forward to the coming weeks other than the disgusted feeling i have toward burfict for his abhorrent act in contacting a referee with his monstrous gaze. Touchdown.

Steelers eke out an ugly win after playing like hot garbage for 3 quarters, lose Joe Haden to a broken fibula against the 3rd word team in the league. Otoh, it's been a very long time since Ben pulled off a GWD after having a lovely start to a game. Gotta give it to the Colts for coming ready to play either way.

Congrats Jags fans. You guys have a real good defense.

I'm starting to think that the chargers might also have a real good defense. Completely shut down the Jags running game today

A stupid typo
That was one of the stupidest chargers loss I've seen. Jaguars intercepted, chargers fumbled, then Jaguars intercepted with the player show boating and not even bothering to get out of his own red zone, then chargers punt, then chargers personal foul penalty, jaguars field goal, overtime, chargers get intercepted then lose

He got absolutely no help. Not only was the run stuffed, but he threw at least four deep (20+ yard) passes that were right on target and hit the receiver on the hands but were dropped.

Not to say he played great, he deffo melted down late, but his numbers coulda been way better

Also that Peterman played, did Tyrod get hurt or was he pulled for being ineffective?
