While there’s not a lot here that personally jumps out and excites me this season, there’s plenty of potential. Devilman Crybaby and Junji Ito’s horror collection are sure checks for me, but I’m also curious enough to check out at least an ep or two of Darling in the FranXX, Kokkoku, Sora yori mo Tooi Basho, Hakumei to Mikochi, Hakyuu Houshin Engi, Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san, Mitsuboshi Colors, Poputepipikku (Pop Team Epic), Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san, Slow Start, Violet Evergarden, Yuru Camp△, Takunomi. Also i'm sure saiki season 2 will still be good, but i still haven't watched most of season 1

Devilman and Darling in the FranXX for me. And Magus Bride is continuing throughout the winter I think. So that's 3 shows. Better than most seasons.

This season looks pretty weak especially compared to the last. It does have a Reigan focused Mob OVA though and the few anime that I’m interested in checking out seem like they might end up being super good

Hopeful for Franxx, Miko, Evergarden, and Poputepic. I'll take a look at some PVs later, but other than that I think I'll just wait for goon feedback on other shows and (if they are indeed garbage) just work through some of my backlog this season.

Up for The Colors, Evergarden, and Yurucamp. I'll keep an eye on the new Trigger show since they're usually good. The Citrus manga wasn't bad either so I'll give that the 3 episode test.

Still excited for Darling in the FranXX. I like the character designs and the previewed music and I love most every ridiculous Trigger thing. Speaking of ridiculous trigger-like things, from the description, Killing Bites seems like it could be fun. Hard to get the tone right - it's a ridiculous and 'fetishy' concept, like Kill La Kill. If they don't get the balance right though it will be real gross. But what the hell, I'll roll the dice on honey badger girl.

basilisk 2 - excited for more ninja super powers. i'm watching expunged chronicle of miroku too right now with a friend as well darling in the franxx - trigger is really hit or miss so i'll give it a shot but am not expecting anything devilman crybaby - yuasa is good, and devilman is good. i thought this was a movie so a series will be neat junji ito collection - same friend is also a big fan of him so i'll watch it, as a minor JI fan kokkoku - might be cool, might be super boring, with a concept like that mob psycho 100 ova - given, as mp100 is good

Judging by what I'm doing in the current season I'm probably not going to watch anything.  But if I do, Yurucamp, Mitsuboshi Colors, and Hakumei to Mikochi seem worth looking into.

I'm reading Koi wa Ameagari no You ni but have been looking forward to seeing it animated and it looks like it'll be really pretty :0 Will probably also watch Gakuen Babysitters since I never have gotten around to reading it, and will check out Devilman at some point probably. Also I'm gonna watch at least one episode of the Sanrio boys.

There's a lot of good series this season, IMO Definite Watch: Darling in the Franxx (It's Trigger.) Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san Pop Team Epic Uchuu yori mo Tooi Basho (CGDCT while on an expedition to the south pole) Violet Evergarden (It's Kyo-Ani) Yowamushi Pedal: GLORY LINE (I've become emotionally invested in this geeky bike boy so I'm not about to stop now) Yuru Camp△ (CGDCT while camping and enjoying the scenery) Takunomi. (It's Drinking Girls, but not) Three Episode Test: Dagashi Kashi 2 (Wasn't overly enthused with S1, but will give it a shot since it's an 11m series) Slow Start (Standard SoL set-up  )Märchen Mädchen Mitsuboshi Colors (I wish this was Hitoribocchi, but I'll give it a shot) Miira no Kaikata (The mummy looks incredibly cute) Killing Bites (I like the author's other works so I'll give this a shot) Hakumei to Mikochi (Looks cute and comfy, but I need to be in a certain mood to watch series like this) citrus Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card-hen

I was one of the few that really dug Saiki K's first season, but can only hope it keeps up the comedy in this second season. Of course Violet Evergarden will get a watch, and Trigger's Darling Hot Dog FranXX should be amusing one way or another. I'm open to be convinced to watch other stuff.

Theres a lot of good comedy and slice of life shows that I'm looking forward to this season, but not too much in terms of action. Here's hoping that Violet Evergarden is better than kyoanis last efforts at an action show.

So I'll be trying... VEG (KyoAni) Franxx (I liked LWA enough to at least take a look at what this is) YuruCamp (Cute Girls Doing Camp Things) Uchuu (Cute Girls Doing Antarctic Things?) Citrus (the rare Overt Yuri show, though I've heard decisively mixed things about it) and continuing on with Magus Bride's second cour. We'll see how many shows survive first impressions or get picked up after I hear some buzz around them, but that's a nice start.
