Imagine losing to the Seahawks who had more penalty yards than offensive yards

SF will probably try to sign Jimmy G to a mid-term deal (3 years is my guess?) to give him some job security at a slightly lower rate than the tag. I'd see them using the tag as a last resort.

Jimmy Graham thoughts:

This season is almost a reversal of last year. He's been targeted 92 times and he's only caught 54 (58%). His average yards per catch is garbage. That said, he has 10 receiving TDs. Compared to last year which was his career best in YPC but he only caught 6 TDs. His drops have been incredibly frustrating and it always looked as if he lacked effort which led to a few INTs. I think Seattle finally gave up on the idea of him blocking at the line and usually has him line up as a receiver.

Depending on what he wants is whether or not I'd extend him or not. I don't know how many years he has left either. He's a good presence on the field, especially in red zone. But I'm going to bet he will command a lot of money. I think Paul Richardson is a better extension, personally, and he probably won't command as much. Seattle's cap situation isn't the greatest at the moment.
