Ladyhawke is the clear frontrunner in this category. While not the greatest movie all around, it's pretty decent apart from the god-awful music.

I keep thinking of individual songs that ruined movies, like bringing MC Hammer in to do a track for The Addams Family or the overplayed My Heart Will Go On song from Titanic. Ninja Rap from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze also joins this list for me since my kid brother played that movie until the VHS packaging began to fray. Scarface had some weird synth music for its time.
