Pretty standard Manga Time Kirara SoL/comedy but I'm always down for that so I've been enjoying it. It'd probably be higher on my list if this season wasn't crazy enough already with all these other great shows. I like how things so far have gotten tied back in to the general premise of Hana's apprehension about being a year behind. She probably should just come clean though, or it's only going to get harder to say anything.

During WWII, the US Navy would recall submarines back to port if their Ice Cream machine broke down. It's those crafty soda vending machines that have no value.

Episode 2 confused the hell out of me but apparently Japan banned the MMR vaccine after a few bad/expired batches (or something along those lines) and hasn't vaccinated kids against mumps for decades. So measles and mumps epidemics are still a thing in Japan.

I forget) live polio vaccines rather than the inert ones used in the US so kids would regularly get and spread polio after recieving the vaccine until herd immunity started to kick in.

I really like the character animation in this. It's slightly strange but comes out very cute. But Hana please PLEASE come out and tell them you stayed back a year.

This show feels like somebody threw a few issues of Manga Time Kirara into a blender and made a nice tasty smoothie out of it. And, hell, it is indeed tasty.

So many good SoL this season. I didn't see a ton of people talking about this one so it wasn't immediately on my radar, but I'm glad I decided to check it out while not being able to sleep one day last week. A lot of good little moments in this episode. I can't choose a favorite.
