I'm not a reflexive Marvel hater like many people here, but uh I'm not entirely optimistic about this. The best movie the Russos made was Winter Soldier, a movie where the smaller-scale scenes were actually pretty good, but every single big CGI spectacle scene genuinely sucked. Civil War was like that too, except the smaller scenes weren't as good as Winter Soldier, and the big CGI spectacle at the end was a couple of fun gags against a background that was all gray and literally flat, because it just was an empty airstrip. The best part was Black Panther meeting an Avenger and saying, literally word for word,  "I don't care." I'd call that self parody but then they were given a trillion dollars and Infinity War so yeah.They could probably make a B+ movie with half the budget about Nick Fury: The Early Years doing a Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy mole hunt for Hydra with MODAK replacing Karla or something. But this movie is supposed to be an unlimited mone mega-spectacle, and that seems like the specific part about making comic book movies that they're  at doing.

From what I've seen there'll be a lot of running, lots of scenes of people in a hurry in the direction of the cameraman. I wonder they're all part of one continuous sequence and id so I hope they've been keeping up with their cardio.

Fun fact: “third world” as a term derives from the Cold War, where “first world” referred to the capitalist West, “second world” referred to countries in the Soviet Communist sphere, and the “third world” was anything unaffiliated with either. It’s come to imply “developing” in a socioeconomic sense, but didn’t have to mean this historically. Wakanda was, until recently, a hermit kingdom that barely participated in diplomacy or trade...so “third world” would technically fit. Though they’re plainly rich as gently caress, and I guess capitalist? The basis for their economy confuses me because their most valuable resource they also refuse to trade.
